About Me...

I am Lorena Castillo, a medical doctor with a PhD in Medicine and Translational Research from the University of Barcelona, awarded cum laude.

For almost two decades, I have worked in neuro-ophthalmology, supporting many people with visual loss, including patients with Leber Hereditary Optic Neuropathy (LHON).

Today, my work also focuses on those who do not have visual problems but wish to improve their overall health and wellbeing through sustainable lifestyle changes.

In my practice, I create a space where you are listened to without being rushed. I believe it is essential to understand each person’s story and to accompany them while respecting their autonomy. My approach combines the best available scientific evidence with my clinical experience and with each patient’s values. I am committed to helping you make informed decisions with a realistic approach that unites science and humanity.
